Welcome to JFM Shipping. The guiding principles that dictate the policy of our company was established when my great-grandfather founded JFM Shipping in 1888. The energy, trust, transparency and integrity in our dealings with clients, co-workers, suppliers and Official Authorities have established our guarantee of excellent service and a competitive pricing strategy.

This approach to our work, aimed solely at the needs and expectations of our clients, has resulted in an unsurpassed stability of trade with shipping companies who we have, in some cases, represented for over 60 years.

Since the foundation of our company we have represented prestigious worldwide organisations, (referred to in our history) and we currently act as agents for such internationally famed companies as, Fred Olsen Lines, MSC, TUI Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Hapag Lloyd, RCCL, Celebrity Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Virgin Voyages and Oceania Cruises, among others

Our vast experience and reliability of service throughout many decades was the starting point in 2001 for the decision to institute a process of Certification of Quality, and culminated in 2002 in JFM Shipping being declared the first shipping company in Madeira to be awarded such an honour.

Recognition from our associates and worldwide partners led us to become the exclusive Agents for the Multiport Network Agencies in Madeira, as well as the AYSS – Association for Yacht Support Services

We are independent agents with a long history in the Ports we operate, and are also renowned internationally, combining our experience and capacity for local intervention with vital up-to-date technical knowledge and privileged contacts in all these areas.

Our aim is to provide high standards of integrity, quality and professionalism, so as to completely satisfy our clients. We always show deep commitment towards reaching the highest levels of service to all our customers.
